I have sat on a stock truck longer than I usually do. Time to change things up a bit. I have a concept in mind, and I need some opinions, experiences and recommendations for manufacturers if you have any.

Everybody always went crazy over the Lil' Red Express. Not me. Warlock was where it was at for me. So, I am possible going to deck my '13 Crew out as "Warlock III"

Here's what I am thinking- give me ideas or criticism. Forgetting the Gold pinstriping and wheels- good idea or bad? I will put "Warlock III" on the tailgate in gold, and debadge the tailgate, but the gold striping on the Warlock is kind of what made it a Warlock- but I would have to figure out a way to match the exterior and interior. Also, planned on keeping OEM 20's but maybe I should put some gold accent on them- thoughts? I have the RamBox so it surprisingly would look similar to the stepside warlock if I were to put in the wood rails... stuck on that one. I have built a bunch of those before- they are easy, and oak is readily available. Thoughts? I am also torn on exhaust. I am not sure if I want to source out a custom sidepipe setup with integrated steps or run short stacks up the back fixed to the outside of the box. I am leaning to the sidepipes because of the full body box. Or do I just leave the rear exit OEM exhaust? Warlock's were funny because they were completely customizable from front to back, 4x2, 4x4, lifted, lowered, tint, no tint, so there really is no cookie cutter version of them.

The gold sounds good but that's my opinion. I like Bosch products my opinion too. Stuck on the fence with wood rails. I think the exhausts should be like the ones on the little red express imo. like were you are going :D project war lock III will be a sight to see.

Ha! yeah, that's pretty close. I like a little more bling though- I will leave the chrome on mine and run the gold pin striping. I went and did some quick measurements and found that with stacks up the side of the cab, the likely width of the pipe, hardware and cover will stick out like mad- so I may have to skip the stacks. I would run them inside the box, but with the RamBox the width is only 51", so that would make it look like they were side by side almost. I have my exhaust guy looking into a way to make complete side pipes with an integrated step- we'll see what his concept looks like on the screen.

I am really inclined to go with a single rail oak railing in the box too. Think I will have to mock something up to see how it looks.

Then the tough part... asking the little missus if I can do it :(
