Bullydog Download Questions

I had my bullydog installed and it worked for a few days. Now the economy coach as well as a few other items are not working. I also don't feel the immediate throttle response as before. Do I need to return to stock and then try to reload/update the tune? I'm confused and not computer savvy at all.

You shouldn't have to reload to stock just re-install the tune. Do it at least twice to make sure it takes and make sure to precisely follow the key off/on intervals at the end to properly program it. I know this a no brainer but make sure you switch the module to battery and start with the truck off but the key in the run position.

I'm wondering if I should reload the tune from the "update agent" on the website first and then retry the tune to the truck. I think maybe I should just start over from the beginning?

I went to reload the tune this morning and got stuck. With my ignition in the Run position after being prompted to do so I got, Unlocking Vehicle, Please wait, Don't unplug. After 15 minutes I figure something is not right. Any ideas?

At that point the tune hasnt written itself to the compute IIRC so if you want to pull the plug and start over I think you could. If you dont feel comfortable doing that I would call BD tech support. Im not sure what would be causing your issues.

Thanks Mopar Express. I think I got it now. I'll give it a few days to see if it stays in tune. However the Trans Temp monitor still just registers 1. Do you know if I can reset the economy settings. The BD says I have burnt through 589 gals of fuel, but I have less than 200 miles on the truck with the tuner installed.
