I’m doing a F,B,D. In a couple weeks and was just wondering what I should look out for or be aware of ?

If this was a Chevy square body I wouldn’t have to ask, I know them quite well but the Dodge, I have limited knowledge on.

Thanks for any info/input, good or bad

i remember those trucks everyone that had them when they came out loved them for the power but hated the fuel econ and that was when fuel was cheap. I do not remember anything to watch for on those they were a pretty reliable truck.

If it hasn't already, the dash will crack, eventually leaving as much of the inside showing as the outside.

Get a carpeted dash cover to help with the UV rays. I managed to get a new OEM dash about 10 years ago, or more. It really looks good sitting in the box in the spare room. One day (sure) I'm going to get around to putting it in.

As of now, when I do drive the truck, I have to keep catching pieces of dash that come off when making turns and takeoffs up hill.

The only other thing that peels off about as fast as the dash is the paint.

Other than that, I love the truck.
