All trucks are considered commercial vehicles, its the cashcow for the state!

I pay 375 a year for my 08 dodge 1500 hemi. They do it with weight fees. a cummins dually can run up to 1600+ to register. ridiculous.

VA fees aren't bad to register. Where they get ya is on personal property tax.. I got billed $1400 in 2017 for my 2016 Sport.. It's on a sliding scale every year as well. My 2016 Challenger RT+ Shaker was another $900.. My county hits me every August with a due date of October 1st.. Just in time for the holidays..

OK now, do not beat up the Messenger,. $79.00 a year to register MY 19 Truck. My motorcycle was $55.00. My 14' stock trailer was $79.00. SO total for all 3 is $213.00 for the year, plus $7.00 inspection fee for truck and MC< (Trailer under 4500 GVW no inspection)...

Added: (Since I have DV plates on truck for next year, truck be a lil cheaper)

In Colorado my first registration on my new 2014 ram was over 800.00 On my new 2017 Cougar TT it was 700.00 That's one reason I can say our state is ruined.

Bought mine back in March and my registration shows that I paid $738 for my California 2020 tags.

Not sure how it breaks down for % of value and the licensing fee.

Mine is also at the high end for Big Horns as I have the ORP and Level 2 equipment group.
