Hey all I’m getting a right brake light out message on my 17 ram bighorn. I’ve read and found out it’s just the cab brake light. Went bought a builb from auto zone replaced it, still not working. The two side lights work fine. The old bulb was blown and even warped. Is it common for the light housing to go bad or out?

Best i can do is a 2014 wiring diagram. Says two black wires are ground and a redundant ground. White/tan is the cargo light wire. White/Dark green is wire going to BCM. There is one connector shown labeled 1440. May be possible water got in there from the common leak on the gasket and blew the bulb. Bulbs are also CAN Bus and need to be replaced with those or there will still be a message.
