cab swap question

I'm swapping a cab/bed off a 2000 gas truck onto a 1999 diesel chassis. I know the engine harness is different. Is there any cab wiring or body wiring that is the same on both and don't need swapped?

Sorry, I don't have any insights into the wiring issues but I'm just curious what problems you may have registering it with the DMV.
