Hey All -

Looking for input on wiring up my cabin electronics. I know the sPod is out there, but it is a bit rich for my blood at the moment for what it does and seems to mainly focus on exterior electronics. I'm ultimately looking to hook up 6 components with wiring directly to the ignition system (turns on when truck is on), plus run another three to four via USB for daily plugging in and removal (phone chargers, etc). Everything I need right now is inside the cab. My goal is to hide all of the wires as right now they run all over my center console to a multi-ported plug-in unit.

Has anyone seen a system that I can do this with? Can I do this with factory fuse box? I know I will eventually need a switch controller for winch, lights and air compressor, so not wanting to have to do two unless I have no other solution.

Thanks for your help!

You can get a aftermarket auxiliary switch kit like I have but its 5 switchs not 8. This is the 3rd wiring change in my truck and love it due to oem look.
The one b4 this was a 4 chanel remote sender I had synced to the homelink buttons. Maybe do a combo to accommodate your needs

I think the optional Mopar up lifter switches are the cleanest looking. I needed some switches as well and after researching what it took to add those I went another route. I went with the Spod system and could not be happier. It is pricey, but everything is very well made in this Country, and it is "plug & play. I believe i AEV has a nice system as well, but it places the switches high on the dash which I did not care for. This is the first time I have seen the Rough Country system, and that looks pretty nice and a whole lot cheaper then my Spod. I could not tell if the switches are back lit, or light up when activated on the Rough Country which is a nice feature on the Spod.
Good luck with your search.

Thanks guys.

Probably basic question - for the cabin electronics, I just want them all to turn on when I turn the truck on, not have individual switches. Is there a location I can wire 6 accessories to or do I need something like the sPod to do it?

I also appreciate all of the recommendations for switches though as I will be buying those in the next few months as I do the rest of the rig.

Depends on the amp load. A 6 pole or 2 4 pole relays would do the trick. Main power from battery to one pole of relay, loads on output side, ignition source turns on relay
