I seen some older threads about this. Anybody have new pics? Looking to break up the black rims on the Black Express with some yellow calipers. Any thoughts?

I think if you don't have any yellow on the truck they will really stick out. My opinion for what it is worth is go with red, at least they will look like the popular Brembo's or even blue. Post a poll which look better?

I think all those work. Just depends on what your taste is.

Ace, that looks awesome. Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? Costs? I was just looking for some close up pics of installs on 4th Gens to see if just doing the covers looked tacky

They claim the covers keep dust levels down, but it seems to me they would keep the dust on the caliper, and maybe keep heat and moisture in moreso too?

I can't believe how cheesy some of the covers I've seen online are. The faked hardware look is horrible on most the covers I've seen. I know you can't see it from a distance but I'll notice it every time I walk up to my truck. Think I'll work on the calipers finish a little and spray mine.

I think the red and blue looks the best.

I'd have to look to find it again but I found a place that sells powdercoated stock calipers for pretty cheap. If you sold your existing calipers you could likely recoup some of the cost. That cheap spray paint just doesn't last and the cheap covers are even worse.

Tnx guys, mine are powder coated...if you do all the work yourself it costs €160 @ the powder coating shop!

Got them 7 months now and it is a pleasure washing them, so easy!

Por 15 or Chasis saver is the way to go, then when they chip or something just fix it.

I have the black MGP, many see them and think they are brake upgrades, but cleans the look up alot.
Cleaned calipers, painted all exposed parts hi temp gloss black, look good as new today (over 1.5 years I think)

yup, carry me a small wrench in console just in case. They will need to be removed if you put spare 17" on.
