Hey all, just got my unlocked PCM and DiabloSport Trinity T2 Tuner today. I'm curious if any other owners have problems with the unit. A couple of things that I have dealt with thus far is.

1. After the initial update, and upon rebooting it got stuck in Rebooting.

2. Seems it does not like being connected to a Mac. After the initial update and stuck in reboot I could not get my Mac to detect the unit through Ignition again.

3. After getting the canned DiabloSport tunes loaded and running some test runs of the 0-60, then saving the results, it freezes the unit and I cannot tap out or tap anything, have to unplug and replug in.

4. A few times after plugging in the USB to a power outlet or computer I have got an error stating, "An error has occurred! Please reset your tool". Then I hit reset and it it stays on the screen saying "Rebooting".

I'm hoping these are just bugs that are still being worked out. We pay a lot of money for these and I'd hope that the will be addresses, specially if this is a wide spread issue. Hoping it's not just my unit.

I just installed mine, replacing a T1000. My experience was nothing like yours. Sorry to see you are having so many issues.

I have a 2010, no PCM swap for me. On my Mac, I run VMware Fusion with Windows loaded and ran the Diablo software there.

My recommendation is to call Diablosport ASAP. You shouldn’t have these initial problems.

Good luck!

Hey SoCal. Have you actually tried running a performance test and saving the results?

I called DS this morning and they said I don't have a bad unit, and requested some files. Hoping the figure it out. The more I play with it the more I find lil problems.

How about this one, say you are driving and have the gauges displayed, you stop at the market or some where, turn off the truck, come back 10 mins later, start up the truck, the T2 shows the gauges momentarily, screen turns black, but you can tell it is on, touch the screen, it comes on briefly, goes off again. Repeat that process but actually try to interact with the screen while it is showing the gauges, and then it will stay on????

That is just one more example of what I'm dealing with at the moment.

Yessir, I gave Hemifever my logs. Top left hand corner, red record button.

Maybe a faulty connection either on the HDMI or ODBII side? Mine is not exhibiting that flickering. Sorry to hear this happening!

Hey, have you actually ran a 0-60 test and then try to save the results? When I do that and hit enter after entering the file name my whole unit freezes. DS sent me a replacement unit and it does the same thing. I'm wondering if that feature even works for any T2 owners.

Just a thought, I know the T1 could be finicky with aftermarket electronics if you have any. I had to unconnect my old aftermarket amp to keep my T1 from freezing during loading of custom tunes. Strangely enough, doesn't happen with my new amp.

The only after market electronics I have is upgraded speakers on my stock cheap head unit....no frills on my 2017 Express.
