Camper Shell Sizes

Hello!

I was going to pick up a camper shell/topper for my 2015 Ram SLT (5'7" bed). I found a 2012 Ram Sport topper for sale but they do not know if it will fit my Ram.

So - Do you know if the 2012 Sport topper will fit my truck?

As long as the bed is the same length it should. Best bet would be to test fit before you pay for it

maybe get them to measure it for you and then bounce that against your truck? would be easy fot all concerned and wouldnt take but a minute

I bought this 8 ft. Jason mid rise off a 2012 for $300 paid $1200 to fix 1 crack and paint. As long as both trucks have the same size box/bed it will fit. Just make sure you have clamps to fasten to your truck.

The rear of the cabs are different on quad and crew cab. Not sure which rear the regular cab has. The quad cab is slightly more upright than the crew so... A quad cap would fit a crew but I don't think a crew would fit a quad if that makes sense. I'll attach a pic of my crew cab with my cap. It's from a quad and you can see the contour is slightly different. I bought this used over the summer. It was black when I got it. I bought $300 worth of vinyl and wrapped it white. Color is not perfect but close enough for me.

@ctf0015 the cap should fit if it's for a 5.7' bed as those are only found on Crew Cab trucks. The problem described above can happen with the 6.4' bed as it can be behind all three cab styles.
Some of the toppers like use a plastic trim piece that attaches to the top of the tailgate to fill the gap.

I have a 2015 ram 2500 crew cab long bed. Found a used leer 1500 regular cab long bed top. I know the beds are the same. Was wondering if there was a difference in the back of the cab angle ? Leer chart shows it won't fit.
