So, we had went tent camping in January and February since mother nature was being kind. Then she decided to give us the rain for what seems like months on end. And, we were busy with our kids social lives...BUT, tomorrow we are heading camping...and look what will be towing our weekend getaway...

Sad to see my trusty 4th Gen go. 5 years of honorable service. I had hoped to keep it forever...but, I needed a Red RAM in my life again.
Congratulations on your new toy. Looks sharp.

We're heading to Starlite campground in Lancaster PA next weekend with some friends. Our second trip this year. Due to a work schedule change we'll be camping a little less this year.

I am a 6 year in remission cancer survivor. I just bought a 24 2500 gasser and a 24 25SRK camper. We plan to go as often as we have the time and money.
As of today, gas in Houston Tx is around $2.85 a gal.
Hope to see you at the campfire.

I wish diesel weren't so expensive, but I don't let the price of fuel limit my camping trips. We have been on several trips this year with many more already planned/booked. I love spending time with my family, and we are making memories with our kids that they will hopefully treasure forever.

we did memorial day weekend at lake texoma on the oklahoma side. turned out to be a wise choice as 5 tornadoes blew thru south of us and missed us. we had a great spot overlooking the water. the water was discolored because of recent rains and was pretty cold still but it was a good trip. went home in DFW a cpl. days early because of storms in the area and a few hours after getting home we had gale force winds and torrential rain. a large limb fell off one of the big oaks we have and went thru a bedroom roof. if we hadnt come home early we would not have been there to deal with it and house would have been much worse off. we planning to make a trip out west to Moab soon to visit nat. parks around there.
paid 3.44 for dsl and got 13.5 at 68 mph for the trip to texoma and back

We're headed to Myrtle Beach in a couple weeks. Always a good time at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. Just have to book your site almost a year in advance. So we typically book the next trip as we're leaving.

Trailer looks interesting, got a tour/pics of the inside?
Steel box on a 3500lb axle, 1250lbs springs, 145r12 E tires. 1450lbs wet weight, 160lbs tongue. Interior dimensions are 62”x109”, 60” high. Both rear doors open. Fits a queen bed. There’s no kitchen or facilities. Was going to finish the interior with some nice sanded plywood over the hardboard but haven't got around to it… maybe someday… maybe I’ll sell it and build something different.

^^^^^.....now that looks like some peaceful s%$* right there.i like it
Between Medford Oregon and crater lake. There’s many small campgrounds and dispersed camping. Also the large Prospect OHV area from July to November. That water is about 37F all year.

The Liberals aren't happy you're taking a trip,lol

Road trips are a time-honoured Canadian tradition.
Packing up the car with the kids during the summer and setting out on an adventure they will remember for the rest of their lives.
But that’s unacceptable for this Liberal government. Did you see the Liberal minister's unhinged rant?
He said that if you go on a family road trip this summer, you are causing the planet to burn. What a wacko.
Check it out:

This is woke Liberal logic.
Justin Trudeau can fly to Jamaica for a vacation on a fuel-guzzling jet, but your family road trips will cause the planet to burn??
