Hey, just had a weird issue start on the weekend and happen intermittently over the past couple of days while driving. I've read about people having similar issues when CAN BUS communication is lost.

First time I was idling and the radio rebooted, lost speedo and rpm, wipers turned on, and service tire pressure sensors and No CAN BUS message on EVIC. The next day it happened a couple of times while driving to work, truck didn't shut off or anything. Yesterday it happened a lot more, and the last couple of times just the radio rebooted (none of the other things occurred). I have an aftermarket headunit, so I removed the base plate and reinstalled for the hell of it. I didn't have any issues driving to work this morning but I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

Anyway I pulled the codes this morning. I didn't do any work on the truck lately, aside from calipers. It wasn't raining out when it happened so the only thing that comes to mind possibly is I was listening to the radio with the truck off for about 20 mins about an hour before this happened the first time. Truck didn't have issues starting or anything, but I did notice the low battery voltage code there. Does anything else stand out to anyone? I did check all grounds, will load test the battery, and will probably pull apart the driver door to check the module, in case water got down and caused corrosion. Btw don't mind the wheel speed sensor code, been battling that one for a little while lol.

Get the battery load tested. A dying battery will cause all kinds of strange things in these trucks.

.
Yeah for sure, I'll do that before I go too far down the rabbit hole. I've had the battery cause other strange issues in the past.

Is there any update to the issue? Was the battery the problem, my truck is having the same issues.
