Can I change the dash from 2010 to 2014?

I am not that thrilled with my computer in the dash (lcd display) and I was thinking maybe I could swap out the guage cluster? Is that possible?

If you look in the 4th gen Interior section, OutlawTrucker has a great thread on a guage cluster change! Should be right at the top in that section.

I don't know if you'd be able to adapt the '14 cluster to the '10 since they use a different PCM. Only way to know would be to check a pin-out diagram and see what plugs into where and if an adapter harness would be required if you could even get the two to speak nicely to each other.

My 2012 1500 cluster is definitely not as pretty as my 2013 2500 cluster but I do miss the DVD/CD player my 1500 had. I read recently that there is a CD player add on that I can get for my 2013 and that it normally installs in the bottom storage under the center seat but I have a center console and don't know if there is an option for that. I'm still tossed between which cluster I like better for the different options that I had but if I can get the CD player with my new cluster I think that would make the difference.

Consider the loss for the upgrade :word:

Big old custom wiring harness if you are looking at a complete dash swap. Your gauges would need it, your hvac and radio would also as if you are going to do that swap you might as well get the 8.4 to make it really worth it. Oh and stearing wheel controls may or may not work.

From what I have read and heard, the 09-12 had a 2 plug connection, the 13-14 has 1 plug. I swapped the stock cluster from my 14 Express to the 14 BigHorn 7" cluster, plug and play. So the 09-12 can not be a plug and play without major work to be done, as I understand it. But I have been known to be wrong at least once in my life!

I plan on buying a 2013+ cluster and seeing what I can come up with for my 09.

If I could get the wiring diagrams I'm pretty sure I can figure something out.

I don't think so... There's the new multiplexed wiring system in 2013+.
