Can I Put Something In This Useless Space? DASH

So I have a 2014 Express. There's a useless space in the passenger side on the dash. It's a hole!!! I will never use it and it's the only thing I hate about the interior.

Some of the other Rams have a storage spot.... I'm not sure if thats true but it looks better. Is there something I can buy to fill that space and make it look cleaner?

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you can order that door. I have a Laramie that came with it and that bin remains empty. Needs a rubber mat inside as junk slides

That is the upper glove box. Pretty sure there is a DIY thread to add door, light, USB plug.

Check this out. I did it a couple months back and now keep useless miscellaneous crap up there that's on my to do list and it doesn't slide (i.e. packages for the mail ect. so i don't forget them) Much cheaper alternate.

My question is what is that huge pocket in the doors for, me and my buddy insist its for holding your Ka-Bar, but my truck didn't come with a RAM Ka-Bar protection group.
