Look on YouTube they show you how. I did it to mine. You use a relay to fool it.

I had to do the same thing on a Pioneer I had. It had a gyro of some sort inside the unit (which is why a ground isn't good enough) and the relay went to a set of pins on the back of the unit. Since that hassle, I decided to switch to Kenwood in future in-dash GPS's, which is easily groundable and has Garmin maps.

Ive had a single din flip out pioneer for years. Just got a second hand kenwood double din. Its fin I guess I just miss the setup of the pioneer and the full 7in screen. The link to the bypass on ebay says it for the unit im looking at so I figure it should work. I do kinda like the switch so I can turn the function off in case I get pulled over and questioned about it.
