Canister Purge Valve

I get a code 440 which is the EVAP system. This code does not come on all the time. Do I need to change the valve. I have checked the hoses.

Possibly. There is a line that is run right next to the exhaust manifold, the plastic clip has been known to break, letting it get close or on the manifold and melt.

I am going to check all the lines. I got a code 0442 and it said it has a small leak. Now to find it. Thank's
