I've got a 12" Uconnect. No problem connecting phone via bluetooth. Phone says it's charging when connected via USB. However, I can't get it to recognize Android Auto (AA). Would love to use Google maps. I've uninstalled and reinstalled AA. Screen mirror option is turned on. Restarted phone. Any ideas or tips?

Does the radio recognize that there is a USB device connected? If not it might be the USB cable. Also do you have the cable connected to a port that has the USB symbol, not to the power adapter.

I've tried all of them. Two below the Uconnect and one in the center counsel. FYI... my phone is a Galaxy S8+

What phone do you have?

You can download AA but doesn't mean your phone supports it.

EDIT: S8 should support it. Have you tried a friends phone?

From my experience, all the USBs except center console support CP/AA

Solved it. It was a bad cable. Even though phone showed it charging it was not transmitting data.
