Hello All, I am a new owner of 2nd ger Ram2500 Cummins with 6 speed manual transmission, . I was looking to do service on actuator and I cant find it, I looked around on passenger side front axle and there is nothing there. Is it a 2wd model that was sold as 4x4 to me???

With your truck being a 2500 the factory may have started to use newer parts for drivetrain which from what ive seen in a few other websites that the locking of the front diff is actually handled via the transfer case not a diff mounted vacuum or electric motor....i would look around for tcase tags to run a part number thru google

You have a front axle differential so it’s clearly a four wheel drive model. You should also have a small lever mounted near the transmission that’s used to shift into four wheel drive. Have a look at it from underneath and see what it’s connected to. My truck is a standard rear wheel drive model so off the top of my head I can’t be more help, but pgoodwin79 gave you a pretty good tip on where to look.
