So I have a 2012 1500 Bighorn crew with a cap... I also now have a 2024 1500 Warlock..

Can I transfer the cap...
I will need to do some wiring for the brake ight...tips on that would be appreciated...

The bed sizes are slightly different, and the body line don't match up. If I remember correctly the cap will stick above the cab of the truck.
As for the wiring, there still should be a third brake light wire under the truck usually near the driver side rear of the truck. You can still tap the +12V for cap lighting from the trailer 7pin. If the cap has a power lock I believe that has to get wired into the cab from one of the door power locks

That's what I thought... Never thought of the power locks... Guess I will source a new cap... I don't need the drag...
