Did I hook this up correctly, or does it matter? I didn't think twice about it when I installed it, but I've watched videos and looked at other installs and I've seen it hooked up this way and with the hose connections swapped. I've only had it on for a couple days and it's already starting to collect oil, so I know it's working, just don't know if it's hooked up backwards..

I hooked mine up the opposite way but it really doesn't matter. Ive had mine on for about 3 weeks and just checked it and there was some crap in there so they do really work

their is a inlet and a outlet on these cans. because the good ones come with a baffle in them so you dont get blow back.

My Moroso catch can's have a steel wool separator on both sides,so they don't care which way they are hooked up.

Well I hope it's not an issue, I couldn't remove the hoses from the barbs on the can.
If it's directional, then the filter should be able to be swapped to allow it to be hooked up either way.

If they did, I missed em.

I thought I'd re-check the instructions, but the download link on the UPR website just gives an error.

Depends where you buy, some are either way (moes/UPR), others (Amazon/ebay)have your inlet crossed to the front and outlet to the back. Just open your can and look for the baffle, which side it is, that’s your inlet side. Again, some don’t matter.

All the catch cans are not made alike ,so like mine has a baffle chamber ,it,s marked only on the paper work>> in and out. But from everything I have been reading we all should have one on our engines. Gives the engine more life protecting it.
