Center Console fianally installed

You can re-use the 2 front screws in the dash portion, and relocation of the copper thingys that the screws actually screw into is possible. Your driver side jump seat bolts can be reused to bolt the back bracket in. Other than that, 4 bolts that You can get from the Dodge dealer to bolt the console to the brackets.

Front bracket installed. Notice the little square coppered color thingy that the screw goes into directly below the corners of the dash bezels. Those are not there on trucks without the factory console, however there are two of them that the original lower dash screws into. Just pop them out of the original position and put them in the new spot.

Rear bracket installed. This one bolts in with the two bolts from the driver side of the jump seat.

I did this mod about a year ago on my 2013 Express....did it a few weeks after getting my truck. One thing to keep in mind is if you get a console out of an earlier truck 09-12 you will need to 1) find a place for the media connection/usb that is in the jump seat console for the Express. The earlier ones don't have it there. I torn my jump seat apart to get it since I didn't care and had no interest in reselling it or returning my truck to stock.

2) You will need to run a wire tap on the ground for the charger plug in the arm rest to work. The one near the cup holders and the rear one will work np. Its in the plug under the seat you will see it once you look at it, it will be the one missing a connection on the other end.

3) If you want to rear heat to work you will need the plastic that connects the main unit to the console and you will need to open it up.

Wow looks like I found the perfect thread. This is something I've been wanting to do in my 14 slt ever since I got it 5 months ago. I called the parts dept at my dealership 2 days ago and they said I'd need to get a VIN from a truck on the lot and then it'd be 2 to 3 thousand dollars!

So is there any way you can re-upload your original photos that are down? And any suggestions on where to find these parts?

I got the center console on E-Bay, and the dash bezel from a member on here. The mounting brackets were under $20 at the dealership.

You got to be patient, it took Me two months to round up all My parts....unless You have 3K to spend at the dealership.

If you don't have the 8 speed you can take the correct trim pieces from your dash and put them on one of these.
