Great heads up. Thank you. I'm currently psyching myself up to do my trans fluid change come fall or spring. I've dealt with Dorman products before and have not had an issue, yet. Most recently was a muffler for our Jeep.

Does a Mopar pan come with new bolts? I have not researched pans enough yet.
My OE pan did, with gasket and a new fill plug as well.

This was the pan I got for my '15 with the 8HP70 from RockAuto was $170 in late 2020.

Make sure you crack the fill plug loose BEFORE you drain the fluid, just in case.

Hercules was working on the line when my trans got filled, I had to use a cheater on my allen wrench to break it loose. That sucker was tight.

The choice for the alum pan would be my selection if I planned to keep the vehicle for another 120k miles pulling the two axle horse trailer over the hill country here and N.M. three days out of the week. Alum pans has faster sitting cool-downs, great dispersing heat while moving, good for multi changes.
This change, I'll be selecting the 'matel'model due to there is no plans to keep this grocery get-ter more than the next 50k miles.
