changing radio

I have a 2013 1 ton pretty much base model. The radio is basic even without a cd player. Has anyone ever changed the radio head unit with another factory unit, one that has GPS and all the other bells and whistles? I have hound some on ebay but was wondering if it will plug in to my existing wiring harness
