A friend purchased a 2013 4X4with the Hemi. A little over 200K miles. Smooth running, but got a check engine light. I forgot to record the code, but the description was fuel air mixture. First thought was a fuel injector may be dirty. Seems to have been well taken care of overall. Any thoughts or ideas?

Most of the DTC's related to the air/fuel ratio are oxygen sensor codes.

So no other symptoms? I'd dump a bottle of redline si-1 full strength, maybe even with a 1/2 tank of gas instead of full, the more concentrated the better, and this is the most concentrated PEA cleaner on the market. Probably injector or o2 sensor, if other symptoms vac leak. Something small.

Easy enough to pull the injectors and check them, while giving them a cleaning at the same time. There's a video in the first post, that's worth watching.

Finally got back to this thread. I looked at the thread you linked. What is PEA? Will probably be getting some to try. BTW she is an older lady who just bought this as her first truck and absolutely loves it...

PEA = techron or the active ingredient in techron, redline has highest known %, you need a bottle per tank, or in some cases a bottle for 1/2 a tank, heavy dose is needed to melt carbon. see redline si-1 thread

I added a full 15oz bottle of RL SI-1 to about 1/4 tank. Ran that until down to fumes, added 1/2 tank of 91 or 93 octane fuel, ran that down to fumes and added and used another 1/2 tank of 91 or 93.

Then had the oil changed, of course.

My bum dyno reported a much-improved acceleration delay performance.
