I installed the Q1 RGBW rock lights by MICTUNING ... I got the 8 pod kit which looks pretty badass ...

I did 1 on each wheel well, 2 behind the grille and 1 on each side right in the middle of the cab ....

Well after a few hours of messing around with the pigtail harness I finally got the camera to work. The first time I pinned them to 24 and 25, ran the rca through the grommet and ran the power with a fuse tap to 101 which is a spare and only comes on with the key ...

The 2nd time I repinned them to 21 and 22 and still no picture just a black screen ....

The 3rd time I went back to 24 and 25 and BOOM ! I got picture !!!!!

I finally secured all the harnesses back in place, ran all the lines nice and tight ... Then I drilled in the head of the ram emblem on the front grill, I had to drill through the back of the emblem and then through the actual grill to get the cables and the camera to sit flush without the wires getting crimped ...

Here are the pictures ...

I am waiting for Amazon to deliver my 2 Oznium 11 mm flush mount bolt lights so I can add them to the rear. I am going to connect them to the harnesses that are already wired up for the lights but I still don't know where exactly I will be mounting them.

I was thinking of mounting them on the b pillars about 4 inches from the bottom facing inwards or the rear seat cup holders angled towards the doors ....

Once I get them I will secure them with some double sided 3m tape and see what the light output looks like at both locations ...

These are the lights I ordered in blue since my front footwell lights are already blue ...

Got the Oznium footwell lights installed ..

I decided on mounting them on the b pillars so that the lights covered more of the visible area ....I was going to put them on the side of the rear cup holders on the floor but didn't like the coverage there ...

I still might get 2 more and put them on the sides of the cup holders though

Well finally got my new Powerstop z36 brakes installed and so did @the_goodguy07 at the same shop ... we did the break in process and wow no lie, these brakes are a huge improvement over the oem ones ..

Before I could feel how the oem pads and rotors struggled to get a grip and stop the truck, it felt like the rotors would just glide over the rotors and not a safe feeling whatsoever ... at times I had to brake unexpectedly and didn't think I would stop in time ...

Today I feel confident that these brakes will stop my truck, the pads and rotors don't feel like the are just slipping on each other but rather they are actually keeping the wheels from spinning to get the truck to stop ...

I also noticed today baking into my garage that the brakes didn't make any noise when slowly backing into it and having the brake pedal pressed down like the oem ones did ... the braking was slow, smooth, silent and "precise"

Very happy with the Powerstop z36 brake kit, I can't wait to drive my truck even more now lol ..

Since we've completely derailed the thread anyway, I also had a K5. Not quit as built, 6" of lift and 36" tires IIRC. Locked it up just before leaving for the Army and sold it off for not much once I got into Camaros.

I had a 12" lift on mine, that k5 was killer, pearl white ..had another one with a 14" lift and 44s that one was more fun but was always something wrong with it lol ...

I want a Camaro lol ..67-69 don't matter ... I would even get an 80'

Even a 1973 Trans Am lol , I had an uncle who had one and always wanted one as a kid ...

What Camaro do you have ?
