I'm bumping this to the top. I need some more opinions. I got a quote for both front and rear badges shaved this week. It's a pretty dang good deal.

I really can't decide if I want to spend the money on it or not though. I keep going back and forth. The black badges go with the theme of my truck, but I like the cleaned look of no badges too....

Thoughts?

After looking back and forth multiple times, I think you should get em shaved man. The black does go with the truck, but I think none at all look sick!

I like the shaved look, makes the truck stand out even more. I am partial to the 4x4 emblem as well, but I would sacrifice it for that look. The grill emblem shaved looks the best to me, you don't see that very often. In fact I can't remember ever seeing that done

No...they have to be filled in, sanded, and the entire piece has to be repainted. That's why I'm having a painter do it. I'm not sure if yours are recessed or not, I don't thin, the rear one is at least. Not sure about the front.

Imo I love the tailgate...goes good with your tinted lenses, but the front grille for me looks weird without one just my 2 cents lol

I'd say do it! Shave em off. I didn't think I'd notice much on my grille when I did it but I think it looks so much cleaner

My truck is completely badgeless and I get asked about it all the time. I know you don't like the black crosshairs up front, but it worked for what I wanted.

I don't mind the black crosshairs, but I don't think I'd be happy with it on my truck.

Where you getting them shaved?

A local paint and body shop will be doing all the work.

Emblems suck. Get the grille and tailgate shaved, it'll look awesome and you know it!
