I like the simple as well, I have a 66 buick that is about as simple as it gets and I love it for being that way. I balance it out with the truck though, difference being that this truck will be gone in two years whereas I hope to be buried in my car when I die. If I was going to keep a truck longer term I wouldn't get such a fancy one, but for the amount of time I keep them I do enjoy experiencing some of the luxuries.

As for the auto climate control, never desired it or missed having it on my first two regular cab rams (2011/2013) but I have been enjoying it on my 17. Seems to work very good and I almost never have to pull up the climate control screen for any adjustments I need to make. Have had the traditional 3 knob style on my 2011, the non auto climate control but not traditional 3 knob on my 2013, and now the dual zone auto on the 17 and I don't have any complaints on any of them.

Buick. What model?

Lesabre...here's a few pics, although I have new rims and tires waiting to go on this spring so the look will be changed up soon.

Putting these rims on in the spring in an 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear:

Not that I need to justify what I’d like to have on MY truck but...
In cold weather when using the heater my feet get hot when the system is in auto while my torso and arms are not warm enough. Auto WITH manual vent selection would allow me to automate the cabin temp while not monkeying around with the controls. Easier and safer. The opposite is true in the summer. My feet are hot and would like some cool air directed down there. I too had a BMW that allowed me to use auto AND manually select vents simultaneously. German auto engineers are better than US engineers. Nuff said.
