Question..I've looked all over and can't find any info on the ATC climate controls on a 2011 1500 Laramie and I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this. The Right side knob..the blend door operation knob..has 5 positions beside Auto...BUT in-between each position is a little white DOT that you can see in the picture...and when rotating the switch you can feel it click in each position including the dots the picture .....does any one have a clue what the dots are for.? In researching this on line not all vehicles and climate control systems have them and they appear to be actual working positions since you can feel them make contact giving you a total of 9 positions as well as the Automatic function ?

just in case you didn't know what dot I was referring to...the 1st choice after AUTO is vent...then a dot choice..then vent and floor then a dot choice and then floor.....what other choices could there be. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the dual zone climate control...like maybe the driver got the pictured control and the passenger got the dot control ? Its not talked about in any manual.....and not all trucks have it ?

Should be just a gradual progression to the next setting. An "in-between" if you will.
