Hey so I have a 03 1500 with a 5.7 hemi and I just got the check engine light on and it gives me code p0172 and it started to consume more gas and when is cold it idles rough and after it warms up it idles correctly. What can it be ????
Some one had told me it could be my mass air flow sensor but I think it comes complete with the throttle body??
What can it be???

As srv1 said, it's your driverside O2 sensor, the one before the catalytic converter. As far as believing the person about your "MAF" sensor, you don't have one, you have a MAP sensor located at the forward end of your intake manifold. It is literally after your throttle body, I don't know if Dodge has used a MAF, though I do know Ford and GM have. Regardless of that, you would also get a code P0101 to P0108 if there were a possible issue with the MAP sensor.

P0172 DODGE - Fuel System 1/1 Lean Fuel System Rich

P0101-Mass airflow sensor signal output beyond the allowable range
P0102-Mass air flow sensor circuit low
P0103-Mass air flow sensor circuit high
P0105-Incorrect signal in the absolute air pressure sensor circuit
P0106-Absolute air pressure sensor signal output beyond permissible range
P0107-Absolute air pressure sensor circuit low
P0108-High Absolute Pressure Sensor Circuit
