I am thinking about adding the rubber spring spacers to help with suspension as I am towing my camper. Any ideas on what to get? It's a "lease" so I cannot modify the system. Just thinking about adding to the coil spring.
Thanks!

What are you hoping to accomplish with spacers? They are a modification that can leave anything from tell-tale marks to actual damage due to change in suspension action.

My first reaction, with no information about truck, trailer, tongue weight, etc. is you are overweight on payload and sagging in rear. If that is the case, lighter trailer is the answer.

You can definitely add coil spacers to the rear springs, but all that is gonna is lift the truck the height of the spacer (when unloaded and when loaded).

So, when you are not towing you are gonna have a huge rake.

Are you using a weight distribution hitch? If not, that is a necessity. Period.

If you are using a wdh, it is either not set up correctly, the camper is not loaded properly, or the camper is just way too big for the truck to begin with.

If the truck is stock (still has the factory rake) and the camper is within towing specs of the truck, a weight distribution hitch should keep it level and safe.

We need more info of your setup (truck, any mods, trailer etc.).

2nd gen’s had leaf springs. Hes got coil springs.

But even so, hes still got lots of options. First thing is making sure theres a properly setup weight distribution hitch, the trailer is properly loaded, and the trailer is within specs for his tow vehicle.

I have these on mine to match my new Carli leaf springs with a lower spring rate so I can still tow. I have pulled a loaded stock trailer but it was just calves so it wasn't that heavy, I'm waiting to get a little more experience with the set up before I write up a review but I like the Timbren SES so far.

So you think adding rubber spacers is NOT modifying the suspension. I'd be sure to remove them before returning the lease vehicle because you never know how picky the leasing company will be trying to find a reason to get some money out of you.

My RAM is a 2025 twin turbo that can haul up to 11,500lbs. My camper weighs 6,000lbs and fully loaded maybe 8,000lbs. The tongue weight of my camper is 600 and I have the WDH with heavy duty 1,000 sway bars. It does sag a little, not much but was wondering if it would help at all. I am thinking the rubber spacers that install in the coil springs.
