I just got my 2010 ram laramie 1500 2wd. I have been trying to figure out what I can do to give my truck the lifted/leveled look without spending the $1500 for a full suspension lift. Ive heard that getting ram 2500 front shocks would give a couple inches up front and then also along with those the 3" front 1" rear leveling kit? and then also maybe a couple inch body lift. If I was to do that then other than the given alignment what else would I need to do? Ive built import cars my whole life and now working on a truck that I will use to tow my show car around. I won't be using the truck for anything other than street driving either. Just not familiar with trucks.

shocks from a 2500 wont do anything for lift... they don't hold the load of the truck, the springs do. I would just do a 1.5" or 2" front coil spacer to level it out. daystar and a few other companies make leveling kits.

maxtracs 4.5" suspension lift all the way!

wayyyyy cheaper than any other lifts. plus it doesn't effect your front factory suspension :)

or you could do a 2.5" front coil spacer to level the truck and a 3" body lift

The 2500 socks are a couple inches longer, sometimes used to compensate for additional travel when using coil spacers.

Leave it raked. It will level out when you tow your show car.
