I'm confused. I'm not even going to question the logic of requiring 50 posts on this forum before being allowed to post in the "Wanted" section. I'm not going down that road. I guess I don't understand the need for control or the need for forum police. I don't make rules, I'm only trying to play by them. Let's consider this post number 1!

The logic is so that spammers don't just show up and start loading up the FS/Wanted sections. And if they spam to get 50 posts, they get removed anyhow.

The requirement for 50 posts is to keep down the fly by night sellers who end up spamming the site with their lists of parts for sale, then never return.

More often than not they don't even bother to update their threads and folks never get an answer to their inquiry about the parts for sale.

This just insures that someone that posts items for sale here is truly a member and just not some junk seller.
