Console tray drawer

Anyone know if we can add the tray drawer back in below the AC controls that comes standard on most other bench seat rams?

Thinking we don't have one because of the manual transfer case. The shelf under the head unit is such a waste, would like to try and add the drawer back in.

U would never see them, would you? Its WAAAAAAY under the dash.

You can order the whole new piece, but not sure that you can add the drawer to your existing panel. I have found they range from about $70-$130. Part number is in attached pic. It is much easier to find this part and the part number than it is to find the one without the drawer... It took me 2 days and the help of a couple FB groups to get the part number for the one without the drawer...

I'm glad I dont have the drawer. I plan on putting my radios (CB, GMRS, HAM) in that location. I suppose I still could if it had the drawer, by just removing it, but that would be more work.

I put my GMRS there also

its actually perfect for a Communications radio. the cutout of the dash trim allows you to mount the CB at an angle so you can read the display without maneuvering your head.

Did you switch it out? I’m thinking of putting a cb in mine and I think I’ll take drawer out.

I did not but i have removed the head unit panel and there is a ton of room behind the aux switches and above our shelve.
