I plan on flushing out my ATF in the spring time and was just wondering what you guys would normally use to put something like that in. I was going to bring it to the place I get my oil changes so they can dispose of it.

I was going to do the coolant too but I need a new radiator, which is going in this Saturday so I won't need to worry about that for a while.

I'd use a bucket or a big oil jug

Usually I'll drain the old fluid into an oil pan and then when I'm done I put the old fluid back into the containers the new fluid came in. Makes it easy.

yeah, use the old container you bought the fluid in, milk jugs, laundry detergent jugs, anything with a lid. I then take it to autozone to recycle it.

I bought a big blue kero jug and pour it in there. Then once it gets full I take it to Wal-Mart or an auto parts place.

I usually use gallon milk jugs if I buy things by the quart instead of putting it back into six bottles. If not just back into the original container

Thanks for the responses..now I know what to use for the old fluids lol...I will have to check back for a DIY on flushing the ATF when the time comes. Kinda nervous, I'm a first timer at this :D
