Picked up my 19’ Big horn last Thursday. Yesterday I noticed when I got in my neighborhood which is about two miles of stop and go under 25 mph my fans ran non stop and the temp was fluctuating between 204 and 215 up and down up and down. Has not done this till yesterday. So tonight I watched and it fluctuated on the highway between 204-208. When I got in the neighborhood it got up to 228 at one point and fans came on when I pulled in garage. It’s only like 70 - 75 air temp. This seem normal? I’ve never had a truck that i would ever see it vary over 2 degrees. This things gonna struggle when it’s 100 outside. What temp is everyone’s running at and do you notice a big fluctuation? By the way I love the truck.

On the highway I've noticed the same low 200's temps. Think city driving it gets higher.
But regardless of temperature outside, it has seemed constant so far.
Bought it in the summer in FL. Now with it cooling down/some "cold fronts" I haven't noticed much change in temps.

This is normal. Don't worry. It's working as designed. These trucks do run a high thermostat than most of us are normally used to seeing, but that is by design.

My buddies truck doesn't even go over 228 when it's 122 out here in Arizona.

He has thought about lowering it with a 180 thermostat.. but someone who tunes said don't do it unless you do tune your truck cause the computer parameters are all set for the higher thermostat. Believe 205 or 208.
