is the reserve tank a part of the system (is it a constant flow) i just bought the truck i think it’s green in radiator but pink in reserve. Can this damage anything?

That's not good...if the two coolants aren't compatible it'll gel in your cooling system...

The overflow/expansion is part of the system so if the reservoir is pink/orange, so is the radiator fluid. Fluid transfers between the radiator tanks and the expansion tank regularly.
