I have a 2012 ST with a 3.7 in it. It has the electric cooling fan. This is my first Ram. I was a Ford Diesel man for 23 years. Should the cooling run all the time when the A/C is on. I love my truck.

Simple answer is yes. Does it cycle on and off without the ac on? The fan is required to run with the ac to remove the heat from the condenser

Yes it cycles on and off without the A/C on.

I just didn't know on Fords with electric fans they run when every the A/C is on. My truck is not running hot. Thanks
