Correct fuel pump

Hi guys I own a 2004 5.7, I just installed a new fuel pump now the fuel gauge isn’t working. I read online if the values of the 3rd party are off by a hair it will throw a code. I’ve check the wiring fuses are good. Cleared the codes. Hoping someone here knows what replacement I’ll need. I also called my
Local dealership to get an oem there discontinued for me. Also the tank is 96L I’m an Canuck lol
