Mud tires do this a lot, they are not really built for the stress the road can give them, and also has to do if you are in a hot area it'll dry the rubber out and that doesnt help at all. I tried to buy a truck specifically to go mudding, and the tires on it were so bad an entire chunk of the tread was missing... All from.the cracks forming around it. It has happened to almost all the mud tires I have seen, and sometimes they are bad and sometimes minor

Those appear to be toyo open country m/t.... But that's strange because the toyo muds are the most street ready mud tires that I have had experience with

Well I live in Edmonton where its winter most of the year haha these tires have been on snow and ice for probably 5 months, so its not the heat that will eat em up :p

So its not worth complaining about and they will think im a big dink for coming in complaining about a very average thing??

Their Durun terrain grapplers, a relatively new mud tire on the market

I also live where it is very cold most of the year it seems and my all terrains are also doing this after 2 years of hell. I don't think it is an issue but I guess if it could get me knew tires maybe I should complain.

Well here are mine and they are A/T not a mudder so really should not be doing it. They are dirty in this pic with salt but if you look around every block there are cracks. I have 33k on them in 2 years.

Toyo will stand behind that tire if it isn't satisfying you and don't let the dealer tell you different. I used to sell tires for Toyo and I even got them to warranty a nail in the side wall. They are big on having 100% satisfied customers.

Yep they are their own biggest competitor in CA. The rep that comes and visits our shop hates dealing with those areas cause Toyo will undercut itself just for satisfied customers.
