So, my cruise control hasn't worked since i got the truck, finally got a chance to look at the module and do i have any guessed what i found? yup, the vacuum line had broke at some point right at one of the corners. So i will be going down to the local Auto parts store and picking up piece of vacuum hose to slip over either side and fix it when i'm off work. It'll be nice to have cruise control again, and its always amazing how something so small can make life a PITA on longer trips. This just shows, whenever you have an issue, start with the basics, check your connections, wires, vacuum lines and grounds. you will be amazed at how often its something insanely simple and really cheap to fix....

Glad it's an easy fix! I had to do a trip to ND no cruise control. 10 hours. That just sucked haha. My foot was locked up by the end of the drive

Yeah, i know that feeling. the F550 i drive for work is an auto and base model work truck, am/fm radio, manual windows, no cruise or anything, now THAT truck makes you get bored quick on a long drive and makes your foot hate life

I feel your pain. During my drive to texas in about 12 hrs with no cruise my leg didn't want to move. Glad it was an easy fix for you. I couldn't use cruise because of a 7k trailer and the truck couldn't pick a gear on cruise.

Ya I had to do something similar to mine a while back... vac line brooke once by the fan and then again right by the cruise module. If it does that then ur gonna have to take out ur battery box n all that great crap n splice it to a bigger line to fit that module.

Hope it's an easy fix and just a broken vac line for you. Mine broke at the elbow under the battery tray going into the module. Fixed it and cruise still didnt work. Ended up taking the module out and finding that battery acid had eaten right through the housing and through to one of the chambers that's supposed to hold vacuum for one of the diaphragms inside. Had to JB weld 'er up but it works perfect now.
