Wish it was that way in my area, the Fleet Pride or other local shops want $25+ for the this same filter that I can get delivered to my door in 5-7 days for less, being I always keep an extra filter on hand I'll keep buy from the same place for the last 3 years and I don't have to drive 43 miles round trip to get it.. Example of my local PDX prices, FS53000 $81.90 but if you buy this same filter as a CUMMINS-PAC FS Part #: FS53000|Brand: CUMMINS|MPN #: CUM102 it will cost you $109.29 don't know how independent truckers can afford to keep operating with such high prices for fuel filters that I'm sure get changed many time a year...

So, a couple weeks ago a buddy of mine was in a jam for a set of fuel filters, so I lent him a set from my reserve. He bought "Mopar" replacements off of the Wally World site, and after looking them over I am confident they are counterfeit. Going to have show & tell tomorrow morning.

They probably are. Walmart website is just as bad as Amazon with counterfeit and they source from the same vendors.
If I mail order anymore its from Genos. No issues since.

Sorry, didn't read entire thread - who is Genos? Diesels only?

Geno's Garage, the same folks that own Turbodiesel Register.

Ok I quit in 99 when I sold mine. Got parts thru local Cummins Distributor because I was a Cummins employee.
Got free leftover fuel from customer witness tests, too!

Same here. I only order from Geno's.
Genos is a great place but I also due business with other places over the last 5-6 years that carry the Donaldson DBL oil filters that I prefer to use along with Cummins the front fuel filters that are completive priced with Genos before the shipping cost are added, its the high cost of shipping that hurts buying from Genos

I was looking for a Donaldson synthetic media hydraulic oil filter, and found it at their local distributor we used to use for work! I couldn't believe it.

I'm going to see if I can find one to match the Deere hydrostat paper filter in synthetic. AFAIK, Donaldson still hasn't given up the game to cheapness. Yet, anyway.

Just picked up one to try. We have a trip coming up out to Indiana towing the 5er so I like to start with fresh oil and filters plus its due. Good things from what I've researched so we'll see.

I‘m due to change the fuel filters for the first time on my 2016 Ram w/6.7 Cummins (I bought it used). I’ve been running Fleetguard oil filters, so I thought I‘d use their fuel filters as well. Problem is, I can’t find any part numbers online. I’m told my truck has two fuel filters. Can anyone provide me with some Fleetguard part numbers? Fleetguard’s website is useless. Thanks.
FS53000 is the number for the Fleetgaurd filter under the hood.
FS20089 is the chassis mounted fuel filter/H2O separator.
I got this number from Geno’s Garage website which I buy all my filters from.

I switched to the Donaldson years ago . The last time I bought them was from Amazon their 3 pack . I only change my oil ,and filter once a year ,and thats usually only around 7k miles . Anyway had used my last one last year , I do all my maintenance first of April . Ordered another three pack from Amazon this year ,and just didn't feel right about them ,sent them back ,got a Fleetguard from Genos along with the transmission filters ,gasket ,and other maintenance items .

Next year I will go back to the Donaldson when I find a trusted source . Amazon I just don't trust after all the issues with counterfeit filters . I haven't read anything negative other than the fuel filters , and I think the CCV filters , but I am still skeptical . I believe I can order from Walmart , but again I want to find a bit more trusted source , Walmart is like Amazon with whomever vendors that want to sell their items .

The way to buy from Genos is multiple items or enough for a couple years or like my son ,and I do . Both have the Cummins we split the shipping costs . But I have ordered a couple items ,just haven't seen where their shipping costs are that bad considering they are a very trusted source . To me it's worth the shipping ,compared to taking a chance getting counterfeit filters .

As said I said in my previous post ,I like Donaldson oil filters ,and will go back to them next year when I find a trusted source I feel comfortable with , Amazon ,and Walmart I do not feel good about .

My buddy gets his Donaldsons here:

DBL7349 Donaldson Lube Filter, Spin-On Full Flow Donaldson Blue | Crossfilters https://share.google/9OsppMO3x2sMuQT7z
Well thats certainly a good price for a 3 pack $52 , plus free shipping . I believe I have heard about Crossfilters ,hopefully they are a trusted source . My local Napa price is 41.99 for just one . kinda makes you wonder what's good ,and bad .
