So unfortunately my friends project pulling truck had a pine tree fall on it the long way. So i have permission to take whayever i can use. Now I doubt it will even though it appears similar... Will a 2006 5.9 cummims steering pump work on my 1500? Upon further examination, my 1500 body may go onto that chassis but anyway any insight is a blessing.

The flow rate of the 2500 pump is a little higher than the 1500 pump and so is the pressures but it will work. I have used the 2500/3500 pumps on a RAM 1500 without any issues.

The RAM 1500 pumps flow 3.1-3.5 GPM and the 2500/3500 pumps flow 3.5-4.0 GPM.

Note: GPM is the acronym for Gallons Per Minute.
