Yes you can. When I change out the rim can I reuse the tps?
Thanks for the info. I had no idea what a chrome clad wheel was, I do now. I am going to try and repair the dent by pushing it out from behind the wheel. Apply some filler , possibly JB Weld, sand it off and cover with chrome spray paint. If my repair looks too bad I'll get a used rim, then replace everything (with real wheels) when it is time for new tires.I buy and sell RAM wheels. I get them like this at times. AS long as it did not damage the actual rim you are fine. It is just cosmetic damage. I always check the inside of the wheels I get for cracks or anything abnormal. I do not have any for yours though. But a new wheelskin would be a cheaper way out than a new wheel. They are just taped on and would be best to be heated.
Does anyone else ever drive the vehicle? Could've happened then.I was out today installing wheel well liners on my truck and I noticed my drivers side front rim has a dent in it. Not sure how it happened, or how it could have possibly happened. Take a look and let me know what you think might have occurred.
No just me. Must have caught a rock on the highway.Does anyone else ever drive the vehicle? Could've happened then.
