I'll post more when they are done. I'm redoing the paint on them right now - they just didn't look right, so..........back to the garage they went.

They will be installed on a 2009 R/T - deep water blue.

should look good on a deep blue as well. Are they just black outs or are you doing projectors/hids in them as well?

Just paint. I did get a set of projectors in today though for my next project.

Found out that the idea of quad projectors in the 4th gen is out. The shroud won't fit. So - might have to come up with another idea!!

Heads coming in tomorrow - shrouds Friday. The ones I got today are not up to my quality - so I had to get with my supplier on that!

Yup! Bubba_Hemi on DT has a painted blue set. Not bad!

In the garage (crappy lighting) and low res pics........yeah. Its a 5 foot paint job (looks good 5 feet away). When I brought them in the house I could see some imperfections that I just didn't like........so, I tried wetsanding it out - didn't work. So, on to the harder stuff. Took some 220 to it last night, then some filler primer. I will sand down a bit more and shoot the black on it probably today.

Tint the reflector, wish I would of done mine.

I'm up in the air on this one. I tinted Jay's reflector, and man it was DARK. One light coat......and wow. Too dark for me. But, at the end of the day - its up to the customer. In this case, leavin' it alone.

I was just about to type "why don't you have Chad tint yours while they are in the shop?", but forgot........he only has 1 headlight.

I tried making a clear corner for these yesterday..........and well..........all I did was broke the plastic stuff I was using. I'll trace out the design today and maybe try something different to cut the stuff. If I can get a clear corner made.........yeah, that opens up a nice little market.

You want black on a white truck? Well........thats better than white on white. I'm game dude. Oh, we could paint them that chameleon color.......yeah, that would rock man!

What kills me on this set - no projectors. But, not everyone likes that stuff.

well, 1 is repainted and DONE. The other is drying........again..........and will need touched up. Stupid run in the paint. whoops!

that looks sick, i love blacked out heads my lenses are starting to fade and i think its the inside too cause i wax them alot, is there something i can do other than buy a new set and paint them again?....
