that looks sick, i love blacked out heads my lenses are starting to fade and i think its the inside too cause i wax them alot, is there something i can do other than buy a new set and paint them again?....

if its on the inside.........other than cracking them open and buffing the inside?

Hell, get some new ones...........and retro 'em up! LOL I'm doing a set of 02-05s tomorrow, and I'm going to a full write up on how its done too (bad for business.......but hey, I'm on the forums to have fun first and make money second!)

clear/chrome with clear side marker (no amber reflectors) would look good on your white truck in my opinion

I tried........the **** broke! LOL

I didn't try too hard. It can't be too incredibly hard though. I think.

By the way, my 02-05 retro I'm doing is almost done. Full write up on that later on today. Just waiting for shrouds to get here and the wife's van (so I can aim these, I am NOT taking the front end of my truck apart to aim lights! LOL)

i may have to open mine back up and paint the 9007 reflectors. got a fix it warning for being too bright.

signal bowls painted, and reflector painted

I just blacked out my headlights today. Went really good didn't have to use an ounce of paint at all. If you are going blacked out bezel just take the Easy off oven cleaner and spray the bezel. Just so happens that my bezel was made of nice gloss looking black plastic. Just a heads up. That cleaner just dissolves the chrome plating.

Trial and error works great.

crolleo, from your profile, you are running the last of the 3rd gen 2500s. Good info to know on the lights. I did a set of 4th gens last weekend, rubbing alcohol removed the chrome covering. I checked a set of 02-05s last night - didn't do it.
