Got an offer for a new Ram classic in an email, price seems reasonable. Are truck prices coming down?

OP, depends upon what U mean by coming down, LOL. As ****** said, the line in the sand gonna be if UAW strikes, and what that does to inventory, etc. Your Avatar shows 2021 HD truck, U need another smaller one? lol.

No I have been truckless since April just never changed that. I don't need a HD truck so I thought a V6 4WD woud be nice to have.

I would get the 5.7L if me, and non E-Torque if you an find it, but that is just my Opinion. As a reference, MY 19 5.7 VVT truck (no E junkola) was MSRP 49K, I got for 41K. For the same truck now be close to 60K. So it all depends upon how U quantify prices. Prices do look like they "stabilized", but at what level. Again, all depends and how much your wallet can handle. ALL IMHO.

ADDED: I am sure you know: The Classic is a Gen 4 truck, not Gen 5, just FYI.

Is that you, riding on the MC in your Avatar on a Honda Wing? (note my signature). Or is it like a HD Roadglide.

Yeah but I have been looking at old 4WD pickups from 1995 and up so even a Gen 4 New is better.

Looks like they are coming down a bit. I just checked Dennis Dillon and they are offering +/- $7K off on new 2500s. I hadn't checked since just after Covid when they were selling everything at MSRP. Still A LOT more than mine cost in 2014 :) I paid 39K for a Bighorn Hemi 2500 4X4 and a similar truck now (w/discount) is over 60K!!

I'm gonna go see it today. I know it's a basic truck being 6Cyl but with 4WD it's cheaper than a Jeep.

That is an excellent deal. I agree with the others, that is one to jump on.

I just took delivery of my 2023 Laramie Mega Cab. About $8K off of MSRP, and a fair trade. Don't know if the prices are dropping per se, but I do think they're trying to unload the lots before the 24s fill it up...and before a strike drives the prices up.

I've had my V-6 a little over a year. I don't tow with it, but it regularly goes up into the steepest parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains on day trips.

It does all I want, and then some. I've been impressed with the power. The good power is from 2500 rpm up, but it achieves that with ease.

My only complaint is the stupid temperature settings Ram has on these trucks. I don't like seeing 228 degrees when I am close to the top of Beech Mountain, but that's what Ram sets them at, and I can't change it.

But, as far as the engine/trans combo, I'm tickled pink.
