Previous 21 Rebel came with red accent interior. I realize the red accent is not for everyone, but I'm a big fan. When I transitioned to a 25 RebelX was disappointed it did not come with red accents. So I set forth on a quest to red accent the RebelX. Phase 1 was easy, the corner A/C vents and rear console bezel were swapped from the 21 Rebel before I sold it. Decided on a more subtle approach to the door panels than stock. Used painted overlay around the door handles, painted the controls surround and the insert on the grip. The paint, SEM 15113 Firethorn Red, is a close match to the stock accent. For the console, removed from truck, painted pockets with SEM and inner shift bezel accents with Duplicolor Metal Specks Red MS300, close match to stock accent. Outer shifter bezel trim pieces bought new, 7GA13TX7AA/7GA14TX7AA, direct swap with stock pieces.
The 21 Rebel 12" infotainment bezel with red accent would not fit my 25 14.4" screen. Figured out part# (7JG041R9AA) for 14.4 with red accent and had car club friend who works at local Jeep dealer order with his employee discount. Attempted to swap 21 steering wheel with the 25. Did not work, covers would rub and controls/bezel assembly alignment guides are different. They are not interchangeable. While I was touring local boneyard for old mopar stuff ran across a wrecked RHO. Grabbed the shifter/boot and steering wheel both with red stitching. The shifter/boot is direct swap, however the RHO wheel has hands free driving controls on the right side, the Rebel has cruise controls. So transplanted Rebel steering controls onto RHO wheel, installed wheel, then verified cruise controls still worked. Painted the controls bezel while everything was apart. Painted the ram head emblem on the steering wheel. The red carbon overlay on the shifter came from the RHO, still deciding whether to keep it.
