So recently I updated my i3 and it happen to get a firmware update that bricked the device. I was able to get it RMA'ed. Well when I got my i3 back it had to return my truck back to stock via a calibration update. I drove it around that day and I actually liked the soft shifts from the stock tune but I liked the 6k shift points from the custom tune. I asked for a stock TCM tune with 6k shift points and to me its the perfect tune for the TCM with the 8spds. I don't go to the track so the soft shifting is kinda nice. But if I wanted to I just need to quickly load that TCM tune.

So I wanted to ask everyone what's some custom editing that anyone has had done with your tunes?

Who is your custom tuner, tell them what you want and they should fine tune for your application as desired.

The i3 is not flexible editing from the device, the custom tuning person has the software that has all the TCM variables.

Oh yeah I agree. Jay Greene is my tuner. He sent me the TCM tune needed. Not gonna lie his standard TCM tune tightens up the shifts and makes the truck jerk pretty hard sometimes when shifting (not a bad thing at all) just as a daily driving tune I actually liked the stock shifting but hate the 5.5k redline. So this gives me the best of both worlds.

Edit: I did drive with his TCM tune for a year before switching.
