On my 2012 Express QC 4x4. Using some of the other threads here for comparison I took out what I thought would be the right amount for me. I wanted to leave a touch of rake because the thought of a nose up truck gives me the *******. Overall it came out good IMO and it looks way nicer than the crappy photo shows.

For the measurements:
Factory height ground to fender: 39.5" both sides
Height after 37.63" or so (.63 = ~5/8)

Essentially it dropped just shy of 2 full inches which is exactly what i wanted. I cut 1 full coil and then another 6 inches along the spring. Based on Criscone's numbers and mine I would guestimate that going 1 coil and about 8 inches would get you closer to 2-2.25 inches of drop which would leave very little rake left. I used an angle grinder to do the job and it took about an hour start to finish not rushing.

Top is before, below is after, sorry about the crap photo quality

Looks good to me! Stock tires?

Yea stock tires.

Also fwiw I know some people notice their axle shifting due to the drop but I cant notice any offset to one side or another. I know the physics of the suspension layout dictate that the panhard is going to push it with the drop but I can only guess that either my eyes are cheating me or with the extreme rake from the factory there was a little built in passenger side shift to accomodate for payload or towing. Anyone worried you will have to do other things to make this simple mod right, you have nothing to worry about IMO.
