Main code I keep getting is Cyl 2 misfire and occasionally the multiple cyl misfire code will pop up with it. I've gone through multiple tanks of fuel from different stations, checked the wires and connector, replaced plugs and double checked all gaps, replaced coil. Have not replaced injector yet, but I might as soon as the CPR rails get here.. tired of guessing with money I could be using for mods. I tried starting from cheapest solution but no luck. Dealer wants 93 bucks for new injector which isn't a lot but running out of options here.. any advice? Thanks.

Only scanner I have is the diablo intune.

Pull the valve covers and make sure all the rockers are moving roughly the same amount,if a couple seem a little short on travel, you'll be doing a camshaft and lifters sooner then you probably want.

Any knock or tick tick tick associated with this?

Cam lobe worn? I am going to purchase cpr rails as well but was told the hose kit for the 5.7 does not fit the trucks due to alternator location so it would need custom lines

The truck isn't making any unknown sounds under the hood. I just filled the tank with some seafoam yesterday to see if maybe it will clean the fuel system out first but I'm likely gonna just suck it up and pick up the injector. Hopefully this eliminates the problem.

I just rolled 59k. Lifters this soon?

CPR rails will require doing your own AN fittings and line. This is even if you can get an order from them. I ordered from a hemi site on the 7th. My order was just cancelled yesterday and refunded my money because they couldn't get CPR to answer the phone to find out why my order still didn't ship.. kinda bummed about that. They did remove CPR from their website. I guess my 300 bucks can go towards my stock suspension.

Well cam getting wiped is not an uncommon issue with these hemis. It’s random on mileage and nobody seems to know exactly why. Speculation on bad metal used for the cams or the lifters aren’t getting enough oil to the needle bearing and the wheel stops spinning. Possibly pull the valve cover and turn the motor by hand just to be 100% sure the rocker is moving.

Might have to give that a shot. Too bad I'm expecting rain this weekend.. would've liked to paint the covers while they're off.
